Brenda Cowie began dancing when she was 4 years old. After more than a decade of training in ballet, contemporary jazz, and tap she enjoyed a professional stage career performing in such musicals as 'Guys and Dolls' and 'Hairspray'. She later returned to university and completed a teacher's degree. Combining her education and dance training she ran a sucessful high school dance program sharing her skills and love of dance with her teenage students. After starting a family, Brenda also started a new business. Through MUMMY AND ME DANCE she now shares her passion for dance with toddlers and preschoolers as well as teaching dance/fitness classes for women.
